How do I repair or reglaze a piece?

Items can be repaired with care. Remove the faulty area by using an abrasive or grinding wheel.Clean the area with a damp cloth. Heat the ware until warm not hot-approx 30 secs in a microwave-and dip or spray or brush a thin layer of glaze over the repaired area. Refire the piece.
